In Addition to My Previous Word, I Bring You Luck.So the perils of disclosing too much on your blog has been repeatedly reported and forewarned; we have simply read too much of that kind everywhere, but it's not until things really happen to you you start to realise how much of a freak coincidence can there be.
Sometimes, it's not up to you to believe there is, for it is there all the time. Luck is the key word.
Of which, I seem to be running low at this new start of the year. I knew Chinese New Year has never been my thing, but still, you would wish the Lady had showered more on you anyway.
The recent spate of events have unwittingly brought my attention to the importance of being lucky. Not just with reference to my incredulously lousy luck at Mahjong; you really won't believe what kind of tiles I draw at the table, but also some very unfortunate incidents that happen to people around me. Fingers are crossed and may things get smoothed out for them soon.
Of course leaving your fate entirely to luck is merely an excuse for being too laid back, but with luck, it really makes it so much easier.
I dedicate this word specifically to this gurlfren, in attribution to this recent drama that both of us encounter separately but bearing similarity.
Talk about optimism at its best. We ought to throw a toast to commemorate this plight both of us are found to be in.
Happy New Year and many good goings, my dear friends.
