On the 3rd Day of CNY...
...and i'm in office, not exactly working my butt off, but hey! I deserve credit for lugging my ass to the train and then to my work-station alrite.
Early in the morning oredi no good news, client called for an urgent order to be filled. Had to hold my poo-time & kopi-hour just to find her a Recept. Blardee hell, wad a gd way to "start" the year.
Anyway, working woes aside.
As mentioned previously, CNY is fun onlee bcoz it's a holiday and i dun hv to work. Dis cynical thought is further ascertained by the way i spent Chu Yi & Chu Er.
As usual, Chu Yi is spent going to Ah Ma's house, which is a stone-throw away. And oops! Kanchiong-Spider Mother did it again.
We were the earliest family......for the nth time. -_-
Every year, mi & Nerdy Joe's have the same resolution - To appear later.
Every year, we are the earliest. Pah! All thanks to our darling Mother.
And as usual, I was bored stiff.
The idea of just waiting around for people u hardly see / recognize / like, to come gif U money stuffed in a red color packet is just not exciting anymore.
And most of the time, the amount is also pretty un-exciting.
I pity my parents reli. My mother worked like a cow trapped in the eternal banish-ment (?) to the paddy field by the evil farmer a.k.a my father in dis case.
But the evil farmer ain't dat lucky either. Bof of dem r continuously gifing money to lil' monsters who bare their teeth, grin sweetly & act polite, in return for some red packets their parents probly taught dem to grab s much s dey can.
My poor, generous parents.
Chu Er was largely similar to Chu Yi, at least for the boredom part.
Ooooh, 1 of my cute cousins brought his new gf. (NB: Distant cousin ok...so i'm entitled to stare.) Dammit. 1 piece of eye candy taken.
Ok i m bored now. Real bored. Can't wait for the day to be over.
