bck again (encore).
Heyyyy...i'm bck frm Bintan! Tired but beejesus! So much stuff happened!!
The People.
8 folks went. Ntg much to say bout the other folks coz dey r the usual bunch, the oni xception is probly Pris, who went along regardless of Weiren's absence..buahaha...so long sucka!! Well done ger!!
The Food.
Despite contributing to Giant's profits majorly on laz Wed nite b4 we leave, the food wasnt quite adequate, especially those junk food. It ran out probly on the 3rd nite or stg..leaving us snackless n crave-ful. Dat xplains the mad feast @ Pizza Hut today once we reached land buahaha...we r oni a pinkie far frm stuffing those stuffed crust in our faces, altho Vic did mutilate the pizzas in the utmostly grotesque way..in his own style, he did us a freakshow all by himslf!!! Splendid!!!!.......errr...NOT!!!!!!!! Buahaha...O n may i mention the shortage of food supply was oso contributed by Yinghui's absent-mindedness s he left some of the supply bck at his office's fridge when he brought his auntie trolley to work on Thurs..-_- ...n no, i m stil not impressed by ur trolley...haha..it's ok la..WE DUN BLAME U. We DUN. Seriously. No shit. O anyway everytg there is ex, 1 coke at the cafe cost 4bucks..so yinghui was robbed blind of 8bucks when he bought himslf n Pansy 2 frigging cans of soft drinks. Holy cow!!!
Milieu.
The accomodation was heavenly i shd say. Cept for a tiny complain abt the lighting. The chandeliers cud oni emit light bright enuff to probly make out or stg..it was so dim we had to squint n strain our eyes while making my shi san yao. N it's hypnotizing..making the envt conducive to drowsiness. Anyway, we had our own pool albeit a tiny one! But still..it was rather fab coz we r situated on top of a tiny hill so while swimming, the view actly overlooks the ocean on the far side. The veranda was luxuriously spacious enuff for us 8 to gather about. We hv our own deck chairs...n the best part, hugely attached to every room a toilet n a shower room in one, n did i mention dat the master bedroom i slept in has an attached outdoor bath hole aredi?? It's juz like those attached to hotel room wen quan style type cept dat it's not spring water n juz normal water la..we were pretty much engulfed in a jungle on the bck of the villa (yes..i said VILLA) n we actly saw squirrels, n a pretty freaky lookg monitor lizard of considerable size leisurely strolling past our pool n a tinier one outside on our veranda. Alas...bck to mother nature..
The Sea Sports.
A variety of sea sports available s long s u r willg to pay. I didnt manage to jet ski coz it started to drizzle when my bro n Lyn came bck but it looks exhilarating! But it's steep..gg for a cool 55bucks for a brief 30min oni. Well, i did the paddleboat, banana boat n kayaking tho. The paddleboat was like Effort X 579379= Distance X 5 lydat..wad the fish! i personally enjoy kayaking more..coz the effort n distance seem to b more in proportion..hehe..banana boat was pretty boring tho. A disappointmt i must say, coz dey didnt overturn us so basically dey took us for a wild splash datz all.
The Staff.
Dey were impressively frenly! Tink i hv been hanging out in Msia 2 much..so drilled to not xpect so much so was abit taken abck by the gd service there. Even the security guards were all smiles. Juz like wot Yinghui says "Frenly dao wo you dian pa".
The Juicy Bits.
Dis wud b abt the San Miao Zhong aka archery/rifle shooting instructor..hehe..anyway he was reli arrogantly impressv! He demo-ed n b4 shooting the arrow he smugly told us his uncle is Robin Hood n he reli hit bull's eye effortlessly on the count of 3..Blardy hell! S if dat wasnt nuff, he held the rifle wif his right arm at full arm's length n on the count of 3 again, he shot the can down!!! Anyway he was rather cute..when he sheepishly smiled. Haahaa..n he invited mi/us to the beach party on Sat nite @ Mana Mana. N he kept sa-ka-ing mi...hahaha..n he asked if any of those guys were my bf, den i said no but datz my bro tho, den he told my bro he's v lucky to hv mi s a sis..Awwww....so sweet..ahaha...den he said i was better than my bro in my aiming!haha..altho i didnt c him at the party eventually but he was well worth mentioning juz based on his accuracy alone plus he's hunky. *sniggerz* The party sucked btw.
O we met another New Zealander who was half drunk when we caught him walkg along the beach. Name's Kristiaan. His intoxication didnt stop him frm being funny ahaha...we toked to him for abt an hr i tink...silly-ly strange encounter...haha...
Met another guy there who overheard mi speaking Japanese n den he started chatting mi up in Japanese while others hv no frigging idea wot the hell we tokg abt. He's frm Bali n he picked up the language while wrkg there..but he's reli fluent! Interestg to c a Muslim speak Jap u noe! But he cant read n write Jap tho..o n he noes Korean!! How amazing...like wot Yinghui says "All of dem r zai3 qiu4..machiam all got special power lydat.." Hahaha...nice guy.
Freak Accidents Do Happen.
I sprained my thumb on the way bck 2day. Frig. Hurtz reli bad. N i hv another latest addition of bruises on my arm when i crashed silly-ly into the cupboard's door in the dark coz i didnt wanto wake the folks who were aslp...tinking it wud gif way on a slight knudge, i didnt noe it was firmly stopped by another door behind. Friggin painful i tot i wud juz pass out or stg. Fug.
Most Enjoyable.
Gotto b those buggy rides. I drove s well..hurhur...bro said i catched on fast, n dat i shd b learng driving. Weeeeeeeee!
