lng 1st dae.
Quite an eventful day i must say, can't quite dcide wch 2 blog. O 4 starters, i finally got the silly gown wch i didnt even bother 2 take a 2nd look ever since i got home. Saw Weixian in nus, n gathering frm his reaction, he moz certainly did not xpect/ wanto bump into mi..haha..must b paisay bcoz of his "cai3", will interrogate him abt dat..Heh. And, thx dear, for lugging it ard 4 the whole time.
Watched Windstruck in d evening; ummmz..let's juz say now i noe y it's rated 2 or 2.5 stars. The plot's kinda tacky n the order of events r pretty bumpy 2, not 2 mention corny. *rolls eyes* Soundtracks' well chosen tho'..altho dey definitely try 2 abuse emotions aroused by Hide's suicide when dey dub Tears (by X Japan)into lotsa scenes for more than all the time..? But there r a couple of clever comic reliefs inserted here n there tho.
O 'sufferred' a 2nd blackout dis week, cept dat 2nite's was more major n lasted longer. The whole of Jurong area, n i heard a few other places s well were implicated. (dey r so gg to put Sg on Red Alert again..so gg 2 b linked 2 sum possible wrkings of terrorism la.) Even the street lamps went out, so it was pitch black on the streets n the oni wince bit lighting came frm the stadium dwnstairs, wch was barely enuff to illuminate its surroundings anyway. Tink i took it pretty well tho..was crooning thruout 2 entertain myslf n 2 irritate my mum further..altho i seriously tink i m suffering frm an overdose of imitated Cocopops n Coco Pillows..! hahaha...
Lightings n electricity r like the symbolization or rather signifiers of urbanization n 2 hv dat taken away frm us is like coercing the whole community to leave urbanization 4 dat brief moment n sink into another realm 2gether. Not such a bad idea 2 noe dat everybody in the milieu is down in the same plight once in while..hehe..MINUS the heat. Ummmz..no, dat doesn't automatically means i'm lookg 4ward 2 armaggedon....or more blackouts.
p/s: Lakerol is selling at $1.50 @ Watsons, instd of the $1.89 @ 7-11.
